Matteo Fantacchiotti has held leadership roles in the drinks industry for over 20 years working with global premium brands both in developed and emerging markets across Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, and Africa. After his Business and Economics graduation in Italy, he started his career with a couple of years in the cosmetic industry.
He then spent the rest of his professional life in the beverage industry in Nestle’ Waters, Diageo and Carlsberg Group in various managerial positions with growing responsibilities ranging from managing market operations, leading global sales and marketing operations, opening new business units and/or new markets and having regional P&L responsibilities in Asia.
He joined Campari Group as Managing Director Asia Pacific in January 2020, leading the develop of this strategic region.
Since April 2024, he is Chief Executive Officer of Campari Group.
Paolo Marchesini was born in Milan, where he took his degree in Economics and Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.
He joined a private consultancy firm in 1991. Since 1993, he is a Professional Chartered Accountant and a Registered Accounting Auditor of the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance. Paolo joined the Group in 1997 occupying various positions in the Finance division. In 2000 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer. In 2001, he joined the Board of Directors of Davide Campari-Milano S.p.A and was appointed Managing Director in 2004.
During his 21-year tenure as Group CFO, he led in 2001 the IPO of Davide Campari-Milano SpA at the Italian Stock Exchange, developed an effective relationship with the Investors' Community and managed several deals supporting the Group’s expansion through external growth.
Since July 2022, Paolo Marchesini has been Chief Financial and Operating Officer of Campari Group.
Fabio Di Fede was born in France where he completed a Master in International Business Law at the University of Aix-Marseille. He also graduated from the Master of Commerce Program of the University of Sydney.
He began his career at Ernst & Young in Monaco and then joined Campari Group in 1999 as International Legal Counsel to become Business Development Manager in 2003. He then joined Campari International in 2008 to take the Market Development Director role, quickly rising to the position of Deputy Managing Director the following year. In March 2011, Fabio was appointed Managing Director International. After serving as CEO of a family office based in Monaco, Fabio joined the Société des Produits Marnier-Lapostolle in May 2016 as Managing Director.
Starting from January 2018, Fabio Di Fede holds the position of General Counsel and Business Development Officer and also the position of secretary of the board.
Julka Villa, a native of Italy who currently resides in NYC, holds a degree from Luigi Bocconi University’s Graduate School of Economics. With over 20 years of experience, Julka previously spent nearly a decade contributing to the brand building in Heineken and L’Oréal in Italy in a variety of roles across business intelligence, marketing, and communication. Julka joined Campari Group in 2009 where she initially held the role of Global Brand Director for Campari on the Global Strategic Marketing Team (GSM).
She continued her career as Marketing Director for Brazil, which she was appointed in 2011. She returned to GSM as Managing Director of the Italian Icons portfolio in 2014, being based in Milan, and subsequently in 2017 she moved to the US as Managing Director Spirits. She also held the position of Managing Director of the RARE US, a super-premium division, which she designed and launched at the beginning of 2021.
Following significant acceleration in the growth of the Spirits Brands portfolio, she was appointed Group Head of Marketing in February 2022.
Liam Gohery, a native of Ireland, holds a BSc in Applied Biochemical Sciences from the University of Ulster and an MBA.
Liam has over 25 years of international experience of leadership roles in the drinks industry. Prior to joining Campari Group, Liam worked in PepsiCo, where he held many different Supply Chain and Operations assignments including Site Leadership to Headquarter leadership roles in Supply Chain and finally Business Transformation Leadership role for the PepsiCo Concentrate division.
He joined Campari Group in 2018, as VP Supply Chain for Americas based in Toronto. After three years he moved to the company’s HQ in Milan in 2021, to head up Global Operations and Supply Chain Transformation.
Since July 2023, Liam took on the role of Group Head of Global Supply Chain.
David Souperbiet, a Swiss citizen from Geneva, has an academic background both in Clinical Psychology and International Relations. After a career in Clinical Psychology, he moved into Human Resources.
Prior to join the Group, in 2000, he joined Nestlé as HR VP for CPGmarket.com and in 2003 he became Global Head of HR for IT and the GLOBE Program, the worldwide Nestlé SAP project. In 2006, he moved to Africa as Regional Head of HR for the Central West African Region based in Accra, Ghana, covering 23 countries.
In 2009, David joined British American Tobacco as Head of HR for its Russian business and in 2012, he joined PepsiCo as HR VP for Russia and CIS based in Moscow. In March 2015, he moved back to Switzerland as HR VP looking after Global Functions for Europe. In 2017, he was appointed HR SVP for the Europe & Africa Business Units and then CHRO PepsiCo Europe in 2018.
Starting from October 2021, David joins Campari Group as Head of Human Resources.
José Silva was born in Balcarce, Argentina and holds a master's degree in Technology Business Systems at the Universidad de Belgrano, Argentina, and an MBA at the Fundação Dom Cabral, Brazil.
He began his career at Unilever in 1995, where he held various positions of increasing responsibility in IT project management in Supply Chain and Finance System, and then Consumer Data and Applications across different regions. From being Mexico Chief Information Officer in 2009, he became North America Chief Information Officer in 2011. Moving to the UK in 2014, he worked in the Marketing transformation and then became Vice President of IT Strategy, Shared and People Services in 2017.
In 2018, he joined Barilla as Group Chief Information Officer, where he developed a new global technology strategy and led the IT evolution of the company.
In June 2023, José joined Campari Group where he holds the role of Group Head of IT.
Patrick Piana was born in London. He holds a degree in Economics & Management from Paris-Nanterre University and a Master’s degree in Strategy and Marketing from Dauphine University in Paris.
After 5 years covering various marketing and strategy positions at Philip Morris, Patrick joined LVMH, at first leading the Marketing of Moet Hennessy in France, and ultimately of the US Division. He became head of Spirits Marketing for Pernod Ricard USA and then became the Global CEO of the Remy Martin Cognac House. He returned 6 years later to New York as CEO of Stoli Group North America before moving to Milan as the Global CEO for Fratelli Branca.
In July 2021, Patrick covered the role of Head of Commercial Capabilities at Campari Group.
Since 2024, Patrick has been appointed Managing Director Europe.
Matthijs Kramer was born in The Netherlands where he graduated from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam with a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
During his 17 years at Campari Group, Matthijs held several international leadership roles with growing responsibilities. He joined the Group in the corporate Business Development department and subsequently covered the roles of Regional Manager UK & Scandinavia and Director Global Travel Retail. In 2013, Matthijs was appointed Managing Director Switzerland. In 2015, he became Managing Director Germany until 2019, when he assumed the role of Managing Director Italian Market.
Since January 2024, he has been appointed Managing Director Asia-Pacific.
Ugo Fiorenzo was born in Gaeta (Italy) and holds a degree in Economics from “La Sapienza”, University of Rome, and an AMP from IESE Business School.
He started his career in Birra Peroni covering several marketing and sales positions including Trade Marketing Manager. He later moved to SABMiller, where he took the role of Trade Marketing Director, leading the Eastern European region.
In 2005, Ugo joined Campari Group as Trade Marketing Director Italy and then holding multiple leadership positions within the company. In 2013 moved to Jamaica as Market Director. In 2015, he became Managing Director of Campari America and spearheaded the region’s growth, strengthening its position in the US to become one of the fastest growing Spirits companies.
Recently he has been elected Chair of the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States.
Since July 2023, Ugo has been Managing Director Americas overseeing day-to-day operations of the organization’s largest business unit.
Cesare Vandini was born in Bologna and holds a degree in Economics.
He held various managerial positions with growing responsibilities from Commercial and Marketing Director to General Manager, operating both in Italy and international markets for relevant companies such as Kraft Food, Diageo e Pirelli. Cesare joined Campari Group as global Marketing Director in 2008 and was appointed Managing Director Eastern Europe in 2011.
In March 2015, he covered the role of Managing Director Northern, Central & Eastern.
Since 2024, Cesare has been appointed Group Head of Commercial Capabilities.
Sascha Cumia, of Italian origin, was born in Germany. Sascha holds a degree in International Business Administration from the Bocconi University (Milan).
After various international assignments at multinational companies, he joined the export division of Campari Group in 2000, working in the USA and Canada markets. Some years later, he took over the management of European markets such as Germany and Austria, and other markets such as the Czech Republic and Hungary.
In 2006, Sascha was appointed Regional Director for Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Just over a year later, in 2007, he was appointed Managing Director of Campari Austria. In 2012, Sascha becomes the Managing Director of the Business Unit South America. From March 2015 until June 2016, he covers the position of Managing Director of BU Wines. Following an assignment as Head of Group Resources Optimization, Sascha takes up the role of Managing Director Italian Market.
In September 2019, he covered the role of Managing Director Business Unit SEMEA.
Since 2024, Sascha Cumia has been appointed Managing Director Southern Europe Developing Markets, Middle East and Africa and Head of New Business Integrations.
